Meet the filmmaker of "End of Suburbia"

The filmmaker of "End of Suburbia", Gregory Greene, has been working on the sequel, "Escape from Suburbia". He is visiting Portland today and contacted the group about stopping in to film one of our events. Unfortunately, he flies out tomorrow before our Wednesday evening gathering, but I told him about Living Earth's Powerdown Circles that have been meeting every Tuesday in February. So he will be attending the Powerdown Circle this evening to film footage for his sequel.

Living Earth's Powerdown series has been terrific. These are conversations on a different theme each week regarding topics of concern relating to peak oil and other converging issues. Tonight's theme is "Bread and Water", perfect timing right before Portland Peak Oil's spring gardening workshop tomorrow night. More info on the Circles here: http://www.livingearthgatherings.org/powerdown-post_heinberg.html

I know this is late notice, but if you'd like to meet "The End of Suburbia" director and be part of creating a large circle tonight for the film (Portland represent!), then come on down tonight. The Circle is free and open to the public and will take place from 7-8:30pm in the Sunnyside Environmental School library, 3421 SE Salmon in Portland.

Hope to see you there!
