The story of my life: Always finding something AFTER I buy a replacement or ask for help.
Anyway, here's the link:

It's full of dark humor, about what we already know.

Looking for an animated Peak Oil short on the web
Submitted by Jerry on March 25, 2008 - 9:56am.Hi everyone,
I'm trying to find the location of an animated piece that shows an old, coke-bottle glasses wearing nerd, riding a stationary bicycle, while at the same time narrating a film being played behind him, describing petrocollapse, while bragging about his preparations. I wanted to show it to my son.
I've had a hard time searching for for it.
Any help appreciated,
Jerry
Hooked-up with Seattle Peak Oil and partied with Jan Lundberg!
Submitted by Jerry on November 6, 2007 - 9:09pm.On November 1, I attended Seattle Peak Oil’s first Thursday-of each-month meet up, where Jan Lundberg himself was speaking, discussing his plans for a Sail Transportation Network.
I arrived a half-hour late, as I had to find the Phinney Neighborhood Center, north of downtown Seattle. After having been there listening, I thought that the future that Jan Lundberg envisioned was ideal, someday being able to use sailing ships to transport people and cargo.
Several people did have critical concerns about pulling this project off in the Puget Sound area, with respect to current government regulations, laws, etc. To add to this discussion, I couldn’t resist raising my hand.
Stock ETF: USO
Submitted by Jerry on November 4, 2006 - 11:22am.Folks,
Earlier this year, a new Exchange-Traded Fund (ETF) that trades US oil came out. The ticker symbol is USO.
For anyone not familiar, an ETF can represent a commodity, mutual fund, an index, etc., but trades like an individual stock.
In this case it's oil, where each single share equals a barrel of oil. In other words, you're buying barrels of oil, minus all the complexities of futures contracts, options, etc.
I was very excited about this ETF earlier this year, because I normally only look at technical analysis, but my research into the fundamentals of global oil supply have given me a no-brainer for a buy-and-hold ETF.
Based on my technical analysis, something outside normal trading has pushed-down the price of oil (The mid-term elections, courtesy of the Bush's?)
In other words, look at the following chart, and tell me if you don't see the buying opportunity of our lifetimes.
The link is at the bottom of this webpage.
