Calling a tech meeting

Hi all,

I'm interested in calling a tech meeting to talk about the website (civicspace/drupal), possible e-mail integration options, .....  I'm assume the first tech meeting should have more of a geek focus to get the more tech savvy folks up to speed.

The first date I'm thinking of is Thursday May 4th starting between 6pm and 7pm at someplace either south east or downtown.

Some of the agenda points that I'm interested in covering is...

  • brief history of civicspace
  • the existing features of civicspace
  • intro to the CRM (community/contact relationship management)
  • possible e-mail integration options
  • possible workflow improvements for the various working groups.

Is this a feature development meeting?

Jeremy,

You know my background is in software product development, and I'm an "Idea" guy, but have limited programming knowledge. Is this a "vision" meeting as well, to discuss feature development?

I know it's all volunteer time, so I don't expect you to do everything.

I think so

I think you are tech savvy enough for this meeting. This meeting isn't about the history/features of Civicspace and the CRM.

Tech Meeting

I could play also. Have limited time but would like to set up a DSL at my new place in Sellwood. We could have the meeting there.

Drupal modules handbook

If you want to expand the supported features of our CivicSpace install, I would suggest check out the drupal (the basis of CivicSpace) handbook on modules and definately check out the handbook for the contributed modules at the bottom of the list.
