local financial advisor?
Submitted by nellie on April 25, 2006 - 7:05pm.
Can anyone here recommend a local financial advisor who understands of peak oil?
This is with an eye toward moving my underfunded IRA into something more liquid and likely to lose less value when tSHtF.
My intent is to pay off my remaining debt (not much), but I need to figure out what to do with the remainder (nowhere near enough to buy land anywhere I want to live). I have some ideas, but I'd like to bounce them off someone who knows what they're doing.
I need to know what I can do to minimize the tax hit and any other rules or considerations around early withdrawal.
Thanks

Yep... call Seelig Financial Group
Peter Seelig... he runs Portland's first Social(K) investment fund. They only invest in sustainable companies and he has had success with forward visioned businesses with employees that only wanted to invest in a fund like that.
Apparently, they are seeing great returns! A good time to be an enlightened financial person :)
