On December 5th, Senator Ginny Burdick (D-Portland/Tigard) will host a town hall meeting on biofuels at Portland State University .

The event will be covering biofuels production, economics and the role of local and state governments. The goal of the meeting is to inform the public of the advantages and potential downsides of biofuels with a focus on research in Oregon 's public institutions, including Portland State University .
