Join Portland Peak Oil for the next few chapters of The Maritime Northwest Garden Guide by Seattle Tilth. This is a month-by-month organic planning guide for year-round gardening in the Pacific NW. In addition to information about what to do or plant each month, there are many articles on topics such as crop rotation, joining a CSA, slug deterrence, cover crops, composting, and soil nutrition. It is an invaluable guide for gardening here! This month we will be covering June to September planting guides and related information. We will once again have at least a few experienced organic gardeners to try to answer any questions the reading brings up for you. You are also welcome to share your own experiences in this process!
