Portland Permaculture Guild meeting April 16 - Cob houses and gardens

Artist, natural builder, and teacher Bernhard Masterson will present an entertaining slide show on the construction of his cob and strawbale house. Discussion will focus on how heavy earthen garden walls can be used to create micro-climates and extend your growing season. Also he will discuss how cob cold frames and green-houses create superior growing environments. Information on local natural building workshops and resources will be available.

Meetings are held at Pacific Crest Community School at NE 29th and Davis (2 blocks N of Burnside)
Potluck starts at 6:00 p.m. - Please bring your own plate/cup/utensils and a yummy dish to share
