Dr Ilya Sander Perlingieri, educator, environmental activist, and author of The Uterine Crisis will discuss "What the media does NOT Report: Global Warming and Environmental Health" The title of her talk is: "Climate Change...connecting the dots. Where We Are. Where We Are Going." Dr. Perlingieri has family in Portland, but recently moved back to Maine after being losing "everything" in the fires that ravaged San Diego County three years ago. Last spring she was one of 40 Americans invited to speak to Congress as part of Earth Day 2007 on Global Warming and Climate Change. She is an ardent expert on the climate crisis facing our planet and is anxious to share her knowledge with others to "wake them up." There is a suggested donation of $5.00. The talk is in the Eliot Chapel at the First Unitarian Church at 1011 SW 12th Ave. in downtown Portland.
A reception will follow. For move information contact Steve Couche, steveco@spiritone.com, or phone 503-232-0699.
