For anyone concerned with the future of energy production, the monetary system is an essential piece of the puzzle. What is the connection between money and energy? You will learn how the national monetary system forces exponential economic growth and the depletion of our energy resources. More importantly, however, is what we Portlanders can do about this problem. PDX Currency is a group looking to reclaim part of the credit commons for local use in accordance with the basic principles of sustainability. Learn what we have in mind for a solution to our both our energy and economic woes. See you there!
