Portland Permaculture Guild

The end of the year is typically a time for both reflection and looking ahead. . .and for PARTIES! Please join us for a combination visioning meeting and extended social time next Monday January 17th! Our visioning meetings are when we get together as a group to decide what meeting topics we would like to see for the next 6-8 months.

EVERYONE is encouraged to attend and give your input about what topics are relevent and exciting to YOU! There are ideas floating around about including some meetings on permaculture principle and design basics, as well as ideas for our summer field trip destinations. But the most important thing is to make sure that the topics chosen interest people beyond just the ones who usually show up for these meetings! So please come share your ideas (especially if you know someone who could speak about them too!), eat great food, and have some time to connect with your fellow permies.

If you are unable to attend but have some meeting ideas, please send them to me by midnight Sunday the 16th and I'll present them to the group for you. (Remember, they are most likely to be chosen if there is some sort of contact person, who could present on the topic, included in the suggestion!) Topics can be anything related­ to permaculture & sustainability, etc. - we don't want to have ALL gardening topics, for example, but we welcome unique suggestions for those too! As soon as we get the meeting ideas figured out, the rest of the evening will be party time - chat with all those people who interest you without having to stay late! : ) Hope to see you there!

Permaculture guild meetings are held at Pacific Crest Community School at NE 29th and Davis (2 blocks N of Burnside). The optional potluck starts at 6:00 p.m., meeting topic starts at 7:00. Please bring your own plate/cup/utensils and a yummy dish to share.
