Join the Local Discussion Mailing list

Portland Peak Oil has a new mailing list that you might be interested in, 'Local Discussion'.  The idea behind this is to focus on what's next in preparing Portland for the impact of peak oil, and by extension creating a model for other cities to follow.  Discussions of PPO's Wednesday night events is included in the scope of the 'Local Discussion' mailing list.

Beyond this premise, here are three additional guidelines.

1. Have the subject line match the body of the e-mail, if applicable please add a comment like "off topic", "debate", etc. in the subject line.
2. If there are several requests to move a given debate off the list, the ring leaders will need to do so but should post the location of where the debate was moved to (blog, forum, just a bunch of e-mail addresses).
3. Try to resolve issues with the format of an email (all caps, odd formatting, ....) , we suggest you try to work it out directly with the e-mail sender as these issues are not generally relevant to the whole list.
