Oregon Flock and fiber Festival
Submitted by quietstorm on July 28, 2006 - 1:53pm.
The Oregon Flock and Fiber Festival is being held this year from September 23-24 2006
Great way to see all the wonderful stuff out there for handspinning, try out equipment, talk to people.
Also a great way to see the animals that produce fibers, including: goats, sheep, angora rabbits, alpacas, and llamas.
There are competitions for fleeces and handspun yarn. This is a great oppurtunity to see how fleece within a breed can vary and see how the judges rank a fleece.
A lot of activities for the whole family.
Visit the website at: www.flockandfiberfestival.com
for directions, hours, schedule, special kids events, classes, etc.
