Peak Oil event at Mult. Co. Library tomorrow- doors open at 10am
Submitted by Lisa on May 5, 2006 - 9:40am.
Just a reminder that the event at the library "Oregon at the End of the Oil Age" is slated to begin at 10 am, but since the doors do not open until exactly 10, we may get a late start.
I urge you to come if you haven't seen John Kaufmann's presentation. He's from the OR Dept of Energy's Renewable division, his is among the most comprehensive I've ever seen.
Then anyone who missed David Yudkin's wonderful presentation about energy and food can catch up on what the buzz is about.
After that, the End of Suburbia... bring a friend who hasn't seen it yet, it's an eye opener.
