Physicians for Social Responsibility is excited to present its latest presentation and facilitate a discussion on the issues of global warming, security risks and energy solutions. Global Warming is already happening. It is caused by humans burning fossil fuels-coal, oil and natural gas. It is already making many changes on our earth and will increasingly impact our health. At the same time countries are competing for a dwindling supply of oil and natural gas creating security risks in our own country and civil wars in many others. We can and need to achieve energy independence for our health and the security of citizens worldwide. All of us can work within our schools, homes and communities for solutions to lower our energy needs and work toward sustainable energy production.
