vbc 2006 peak oil workshop
Hi all, this is an e-mail I received about the VBC.
hello jeremy- i'm max ritchie, and i've recently taken on the role of workshop coordinator for the village building convergence from marisa cravens who you worked with last year. she told me about the successful peak oil workshop that you led last year, and i've heard that you may be interested in doing something similar for the vbc this year. the dates for this year's vbc are may 19-28, and we'd be very excited and appreciative if you would like to do it again. as was the case last year, workshops will be held in the afternoon. if there is a specific time or day that works for you, please let me know. my phone number is 831-254-6291 - feel free to call or email if you have questions or ideas. thanks and be well, max http://vbc.cityrepair.org/vbc6/

Tabling at Earth Day?
I wrote about tabling at Earth Day and heard back:
The fee for all booths (except for food vendors) is $30.00 booth space, $100.00 includes a tent rental. Tent supplies are limited, so I would highly reccomend that you bring your own tent, because it will probably be rainy.
Tabling at Earth Day and VBR
Cool about the presentation and tabling. Perhaps at the next Outreach meeting, we can talk about paying the $30.00 tabling fee. I think I can help with this money if PPO doesn't have enough $.

Go for the tent!
I have tabled at Earth Day for the last 4 years, and I would not do it without a tent. Last year it POURED, most years it sprinkles at least, and the one year with sun (which also rained that day too!) it was so strong we got sunburns! There is also a lot of breeze, so have anchors for displays and paperweights for handouts. Maybe someone in the group has a 10x10 canopy you could borrow. Or maybe it costs less to rent one somewhere else. :) Carla
