Brick Outdoor Bread Baking Ovens - ?
Submitted by Robert Pace on April 18, 2006 - 6:51pm.
I'm considering having a brick type, outdoor, wood fired, bread baking oven built in my backyard. Does anybody know a person or contractor that builds these kind of ovens? I'm not looking for something real elaborate nor am I looking for something real primitive either. I've found some resources on the internet but nobody local. Thanks, Robert

Ovens...
Robert, let me know if you receive any great local info on your oven building project. I've wanted to build a cob or brick or? oven for baking artisan bread outside for a long time. I haven't had the money to invest in any of the few great books that are out there right now... but am checking in at the library.
Hope you're willing to share a peek at your oven when it's done. I'd love to see it.

check out City Repair
I know many a City Repair project involves building cob stuff and I know there is an outdoor cob oven at PSU.
thanks
Thanks, I'll check it out.
